Analytics Mechanics Associates: NASA’s Moon to Mars Objectives Posters
Requested by the communications team at the Kennedy Space Center, the Moon to Mars Objectives Posters are a collection of four images that illustrate the objectives of NASA’s Moon to Mars initiative: Multidisciplinary Science; Lunar and Mars Infrastructure; Transportation and Habitation; and Operations. As the project lead, I was responsible for the initial concepting, along with some of the 3D layout, lighting, and shading. I was also responsible for overall art direction and compositing. Per the client’s request, we focused on capturing a vibrant, 70’s sci-fi retro aesthetic. By using saturated colors and complimentary blues and oranges, we were able to create a high-contrast, surreal look for the images.

The Moon to Mars Objective posters can also be found (and downloaded!) at NASA’s Video and Image Library.
Analytics Mechanics Associates: NASA Strategy & Architecture Office (SAO) Ambassador Deck
My primary job as a Multimedia Specialist at AMA is to create and provide NASA with engineering concepts and visualizations. While most of our projects are developed for internal use, I had the fortunate opportunity to lead and design for NASA’s Strategy & Architecture Office Ambassador Deck. This is a series of concept images that are currently being used to supplement the rebrand of SAO’s Moon to Mars Architecture initiatives, as featured in the Executive Overview of the 2024 Architecture Concept Review below (see illustrations on pages 1, 8, 10, 12, 14, 24). The Ambassador Deck images conceptualizes the futures of various architecture and activities on the Lunar and Mars surfaces. In order to illustrate these concepts without defining specific architecture, my team and I researched ways to convey generic architecture and developed a unique artistic stylization that combines various 2D & 3D techniques.
You can find the Executive Overview of the 2024 Architecture Concept Review document published here as well:

The Ambassador Deck images can also be found on NASA’s Moon to Mars Architecture site (you can also learn more about the agency’s Moon to Mars Strategy and Objectives here too):

Adobe: Hair Collection & Transfer
During my time as a 3D Artist Intern for Adobe’s research department, I was tasked with developing 50 different types of facial hair to be templated across multiple faces. I used Blender’s particle system to create the facial hair collection and developed a pipeline script that transfers hair data to various head models. (Most of the work is protected due to intellectual property, but I received permission to share a few screenshots of my progress.)
